General Donn A. Starry: Architect of Air-Land Battle Doctrine

"TALIK" - Major General Israel Tal "Israeli Steel" Division Commander during the Six Day War in 1967. Later served as the Commander of the Israeli Armor corps, the assistant minister of defense, and was instrumental in the design and known as the "father" of the Merkava family of main battle tanks. He was also influential in the design of the U.S. M1 Abrams tank.
